Kabaw

The granary is over 700 years old and stands impregnable on a hilltop. You really have a spectacular view! In the granary local people could shelter here and protect their grain, oil and water. The rooms surround an open courtyard, with some sections climing four or five storeys high. Many of the doors are made of palm trunks and most of the structure is an combination of rock, gypsum and sun dried mud bricks.

In April, there is a festival in Kabaw, known as the Qasr Festival. Here Berber culture is showed such as as handcrafts. Its also a period for important events such as weddings.
