Derj

Thedesert oasistown of Derj is located about 210 kilometres south of Nalut, 108 kilometres before Ghadames, and 540 km northeast of Tripoli. Its becoming a strategic place because of the towns location its an important junction in the region Tripolitainia, Libya. The small old city consists of mud brick houses. It snot often visited by tourists but it definitely has his charms. Normally the Berber tribes are organising a Arts and Heritage festival in September. The festival shows crafts, culture, and heritage. Traditional music is played.
